The Air Center is located at 27450 Challenger Blvd., Punta Gorda, FL 33982. Pilots can access it via Taxiway E.
What are the Air Center hours?
The Air Center is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Pre-arranged after-hours services available. Contact 941-639-4119 for additional information.
What are the air traffic control tower hours?
Air Traffic Control Tower is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
How long is the runway?
- Runway 4-22 is the longest lighted runway at 7,193 feet, which was rehabilitated in 2022
- Runway 15-33 is the second longest lighted runway, which was rehabilitated and extended to 6,281 feet in 2020
- Runway 9-27 is 2,635 feet long and was rehabilitated in 2023

What planes can you accommodate?
The 510,000-square-foot ramp can accommodate various aircrafts from a small single-engine plane up to a Boeing Business Jet.

Are you NATA Safety Certified?
The Charlotte County Airport Authority’s FBO achieved Safety 1st qualified status on the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) FBO Status Map in 2019, and achieved its Safety 1st Clean certification in 2020. NATA certifications bring best-practices training to FBOs and their staff for the safe handling of aircraft in their charge, as well as cleaning and disinfecting facility operations.
